Our chaga is 100% wild and was sustainably harvested from Northern Ontario then was air dried and finely ground making it perfect for smoothies, coffee, baking and tea's. As a tea chaga is a complex source of nutrition which has been linked to many health benefits. The chaga is known for its high levels of antioxidants, beta-glucans, phyto saccharides, minerals and vitamins. Chaga also absorbs a unique and beneficial compound from their birch tree host called betulinic acid which is an oxidant product that is believed to have potent anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral properties.
