At the Downtown Windsor Farmers' Market, you’ll find farm fresh fruit, vegetables, produce and unique artisan food products from the best our area has to offer.
To comply with health and safety guidelines, this year’s market looks a little different than what we’re used to. In addition to social distancing and increased sanitation measures, we’ve moved some of our fan favourites online, like our Kids Corner and Chef’s Table. We’re also working hard each week to adapt to the changing requirements and guidelines from the health unit, so that everyone stays safe.
As another measure, we’re now bringing shoppers the ability to reserve their order ahead of time. This will help to streamline the shopping experience for everyone, while also ensuring you don’t miss out on your favourite products!
How It Works
On this site, you’ll get a look at what will be available at the coming week’s market. Shoppers can browse by category or vendor, or search for specific items from Monday to Friday before Saturday’s DWFM.
Once your cart is loaded with all of your local favourites, hit check out to officially place your reservation. You use major credit and debit cards to pay for your order on check out or you can pay the vendor directly when you pick up your order.
Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email which will provide a summary of your purchases, as well as your Order ID. Bring the Order ID with you to the market on Saturday morning to skip the entry line and to retrieve your reservations. Unpaid reservations are held until 10:30 am, whereas paid reservations are held until 12:30 pm on Market Day.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Your reservation is not a guarantee for the product. As many local food enthusiasts will know, plants and weather can be fickle, and produce availability is not always what we expect. While every effort will be made to fulfill pre-paid orders, if a vendor is unable to do so, it will be up to the vendor and the customer to arrange for an alternative product or a full refund.
You must visit the individual stalls of each vendor you have placed a reservation with to retrieve your order.
You will need to bring your Order ID to skip the entry line and pick up your reservation.
Any unpaid reservations not picked up by 10:30 am on market day are considered forfeited, and may be sold to other customers.
Some vendors are only accepting card payments, and some are only accepting exact change. Please review the profiles of vendors you have placed orders with, and be prepared to pay with their preferred method.
If you place a reservation and do not retrieve it, you may be not permitted to place future reservations.
This site accepts reservations between 9 am on Sundays and 12 pm on Fridays. Vendors may add to their stock throughout the week, so check back often!
